In a Flash, It’s Our Anniversary Day..
In a flash, it’s our anniversary day. Time passes by so quickly that we both didn’t realized how much we have grown together supporting each other’s back no matter the situation.
Anniversary Day
Le wife thought we are only doing a simple celebration someplace after work. Little did she know, prior to our anniversary day, me and “A Bear” (the mischievous bear) have been spending some time searching the interweb for the right bouquet of flower to surprise le wife off guard at her workplace. Boy we think it was a successful one!
My Surprise?
Le wife too surprised me with a cup of Starbucks! Though the one enjoying Starbucks more is the mischievous one.
All the info that I gather for this Starbucks drink was a mango and it was their signature drink of the week or day? Overall a very nice surprise as she too caught me off guard while I’m going about my working day.
The Anniversary Dinner
While picking le wife up at the train station, she offered to drive me to an “undisclosed” location to celebrate our anniversary day.
Unfortunately, the “undisclosed” location does not surprise me at all. Why? Because It was also my plan to bring her to the same place to have a very simple anniversary. It was none other than the Brew & Bread in Kota Kemuning. Speaking of both minds think alike eh🤣

Stepping into the café, it gave us an industrial vibe and relaxed ambience which made us felt that we have made the right choice choosing this café for our anniversary celebration.
The Menu
Le Wife ordered a Double Boiled Mushroom Soup to share and Dark Miso Korean Fried Chicken Bowl as her main while I ordered Mala Whole Leg Chicken Burger as my main.
Though this café’s specialty was coffee, both of us did not ordered it as it was dinner time. So we both opt for honey lemon, both hot and cold to complement our foods for the day.

Double Boiled Mushroom Soup
The double boiled mushroom soup is our first starter dish. It was generously filled with mushroom and garlic bread on top of the soup. The best starter dish to warm our stomach before the mains.
Verdict: 8/10! This mushroom soup taste good and is our favorite! We can tell that the mushroom soup was freshly made upon order.
Dark Miso Korean Fried Chicken Bowl
A slightly healthy food for me. This dish was quite unique on itself as the plate was filled with not only miso chicken with rice, but some fruits at the side. The fried chicken was not as crispy to my liking, probably due to it being soaked with Korean sauce.
Verdict: 7/10! This dish was a unique fusion dish by itself. Though we feel like the fried chicken can be done better.
Mala Whole Leg Chicken Burger
Le wife ordered this. As I’m not a fan of mala smell & taste in general, the patty only have a slight hint of mala taste which which is acceptable for me. The patty was also juicy and very yummy according to le wife.
Portion for this dish is quite huge so we both share the fries and onion to finish it (More like me stealing her fries and onion rings 😋)
Verdict: 8/10! Le wife’s rating. According to her, it was a very nice burger with unique taste and if we were to come visit, she will order this again!

Although it was a simple anniversary celebration, we do enjoy our times, cherishing every little moments together. We are not perfect, bound to have disagreements among ourselves from time to time, but in the end, the disagreements will turn into compromise and made the best versions of ourselves. To many years to come le wife. Happy Anniversary❤️
