The Big Museum, Topkapi Palace
The Big Museum, Topkapi Palace, was built between 1466 and 1478 by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II. A place for visitors to get to know more insights of the lifestyle of the Sultans during the Ottoman Empire era. The Big Museum, Topkapi Palace Unfortunately, we missed out on taking photos of the front entrance of the palace, so the above photo shown above is the middle gate of salutation. By looking at the middle gate, it does felt like we are about to step into a castle. A closer look at the middle gate entrance before entering the courtyard. Whilst entering the gate, we were impressed by the beautifully crafted…

Our Long Anticipated Trip Of The Year!
Our long anticipated trip of the year to Turkey! Just look at the two pink bears checking in at a very familiar airport! For this trip, we engaged on a tour agency to show us around turkey as the package offered at that time was a steal considering all inclusive of return flight, accommodation, food and tour. The only non-inclusive will be the hot air balloon ride at Cappadocia. More on this in our future blogpost 😁 Some Random Shots At KLIA Airport In Flight It was our first time boarding the Turkish Airline, midnight flight with seating capacities filled. Once we settled ourselves, we try to get some needed…

The Only Breakfast Shop Available In The Mall, Turns Out To Be Great!
The only breakfast shop available in the mall, turns out to be a great one! It was early in the morning, many shops were not open for business yet. While waiting, we decided to have breakfast first. The only nearest breakfast shop that we see available at that time was the one and only Oriental Kopitiam, which already started operating with quite a huge crowd with some waiting in line to get a seat. Breakfast Shop, Oriental Kopitiam While waiting in line, we were presented with all sorts of signature products displaying in front of the shop to entice the crowd to have a look see, and then buy! However,…

On We Go!! The Great British Circus 2022!
On we go!! To The Great British Circus 2022 at my very own hometown, Klang! A planned trip with the family to experience the circus for the first time, especially me 😁 The Great British Circus It has been a while since the Covid pandemic, and really apparent that the circus shrunk it’s size from what it used to be according to le wife. Of course, this time round, the two pink bears were very excited to witness their very first circus! Random shots while queuing at the entrance of the circus.. The Circus Making our way into the circus, we were first greeted with food stalls consisting of cloud…

In a Flash, It’s Our Anniversary Day..
In a flash, it’s our anniversary day. Time passes by so quickly that we both didn’t realized how much we have grown together supporting each other’s back no matter the situation. Anniversary Day Le wife thought we are only doing a simple celebration someplace after work. Little did she know, prior to our anniversary day, me and “A Bear” (the mischievous bear) have been spending some time searching the interweb for the right bouquet of flower to surprise le wife off guard at her workplace. Boy we think it was a successful one! My Surprise? Le wife too surprised me with a cup of Starbucks! Though the one enjoying Starbucks…

An Unplanned Restaurant Turns Out To Be Hidden Gem
Who knows, an unplanned restaurant could turned out to be a great one! Though you may be familiar with this Japanese Restaurant – Menya Hanabi, it was our first encounter visiting this place. The Unplanned Restaurant – Menya Hanabi When we visited this place, we did not set any high expectations on this as we were just “selecting a restaurant randomly” to have a decent dinner. The Menu Le wife ordered the signature Menya Hanabi’s Maze-soba (soupless ramen) whereas me ordered the safest menu in the list, Shoyu Ramen (Soy Sauce Ramen), topping it off with Wakatori No Karaage as our side dish. While Waiting for Food… Wakatori No Karaage…

Follow us this way to the Bazaar! Food Adventure.
Follow us this way to the Bazaar! Our food adventure to the Bazaar Ramadhan, a very, very long overdue post. We can’t contain our enjoyment to finally be able to visit the bazaar in PJ (Petaling Jaya) after so many failed attempts on planning to go as both our timing are very hectic at the moment. Walking towards the bazaar, we were greeted by the wonderful smell of awesome foods from a far, waiting for us to explore. It even made us hungrier faster despite dinner time was still an hour or two away. The Bazaar Our main goal for that day is to first get our hands on some…

How To Be A Lord For Half A Day?
How to be a lord for half a day? Eating scones at The Lord’s Café! Haha jokes aside, this café will be our last scone hunting of the day as our Cameron Trip has come to an end. Be A Lord – The Lord’s Café As we thought going early to the café will give us an advantage by not queuing, we were both awfully wrong about it. Upon reaching, the queue started picking up fast and getting longer! While queueing, there is a menu by the sidewalk for patrons to view while waiting for their turn to enter the café. Unfortunately, due to the queue was long, we were…

Brunch With The Love, Le Scone Hunting
Brunch with the love, scone hunting, at “The Smokehouse”, again! 🤣 Our main goal for the day is to try out one of the nicest scones available. So we decided to give “The Smokehouse” another go as we both love the romantic ambience during our candle light dinner the night before. Brunch With The Love – The Smokehouse The restaurant at that timing we went was filled with lunch crowds and we have to wait for a moment before manage to get into the restaurant. Though the seating area we wanted was to be by the window side which we did not get, we are very grateful that our wait…

Life Throws You a Cactus To Make You Stronger
Life, as fragile as it could be, may throw you a cactus from any point of your life to make you stronger. Though our initial plan was to visit the Mossy Forest, we found out that the road leading to Mossy Forest requires a 4×4 to continue the journey as the condition of the road is in a very bad shape. In the end, we decided to make a turn back as our car is not fit for this type of road condition. Upon some googling, visiting Mossy Forest will now require us to engage with the local tour guide as seen in the article from “The Rakyat Post –…
